The decision wasn't much of a surprise, probably, what with the recommendations of financial and facilities consultants both pointing toward a new Allen County Hospital at a new location being the wisest investment for the community, but it still took a few minutes' huddle before the Hospital Facilities Commission unanimously recommended to county commissioners that they vote to build a new hospital on another site. The actual decision by Commissioners won't happen till tomorrow, but from all indications it appears the commission will follow the chorus of recommendations.
