Two people were taken to the hospital for evaluation of possible injuries following a wreck yesterday evening in Woodson County. Highway Patrol Crash reports indicate the wreck happened just after 5:30pm on US 75 north of Yates Center. Both vehicles were northbound, troopers say, and the lead vehicle had pulled over onto the shoulder to make a U-turn. But the driver, D.R. Harvey from Colorado Springs, apparently didn't see the following pickup, driven by Heather Walker of Chanute. He turned in front of her. Both were alone in their vehicle.
