Highway Patrol troopers say a Uninontown man was killed and a 4-year old relative injured in a crash yesterday in Fort Scott. It's unclear why 63-year old George Wilkinson was driving a Jeep through the alley between the 100 blocks of Second Street and State Street, but troopers say he veered out of the alley and hit the back side of one of the buildings. He was taken to Mercy Medical Center by ambulance, and later died of his injuries. 4-year old Bryan Wilkinson, a passenger in the Jeep, was also taken by ambulance to be checked out for possible injuries.
