More information has been released concerning the capture yesterday afternoon of an escapee for custody in Woodson county. Allen County Sheriff Tom Williams reported last night that deputies had located 26-year old Kenneth Apley at the RV Park on US 54 in Iola. The arrest was made by Master Deputy Roy Smith and Iola Police Lieutenant Steve Womack. Authorities say Apley got away following a court appearance yesterday just before noon, prompting a manhunt throughout southeast Kansas.
